La misión del Asesor Técnico Comercial en Energía Solar es promover y vender soluciones energéticas sostenibles basadas en energía solar, brindando asesoramiento técnico especializado a clientes potenciales y actuales. Su objetivo principal es contribuir a la transición hacia un modelo energético más limpio y eficiente, identificando oportunidades de negocio, ofreciendo soluciones personalizadas y garantizando la satisfacción del cliente a través de un servicio de calidad. Además, deberá mantenerse actualizado en las últimas tendencias y tecnologías en energía solar para poder ofrecer la mejor asesoría posible a sus clientes.
Education/Experience
Bachelor Degree or Associates Degree from an accredited university in a hard science field
2 years of Solar PV installation experience highly preferred
Experience providing technical support, both in-person and remote via phone or webinar
Experience providing technical and product trainings preferred
Formal solar training/NABCEP Entry Level or Certified
Knowledge of NEC Code, UL and IEEE Solar PV standards
Requirements
Ability to travel up to 80%, (valid motor vehicle license and valid passport is required)
Engineering and/or power electronics background preferred
Ability to identify technical solutions to solve product performance or installation issues
Provide outstanding in-person and telephone based technical support
Outstanding ability to document meeting summaries, technical notes and customer feedback
Comfortable interacting with multiple stakeholders from different departments, including sales, technical and operations
Passion for innovative progression of renewable energy industry
Ability to identify technical solutions to solve product performance or installation issues
Strong interpersonal and relationship driven skillset with ability to establish deep level of customer rapport

Tasks and Responsibilities
Works independently with clients and prospective clients, providing product guidance and technical support.
Responsible for creating the strategy and framework that will be used to assist clients with system repairs
On-site assessment and recommendations of clients systems and prospective systems; analyzing through technical knowledge the best and most effective methods for optimizing solar systems.
Working closely with Territory Sales Managers to provide added technical support depth by lending technical knowledge to the acquisition of sales or supplier agreements
Enhance overall level of customer experience through continuous assessment of requirements, pain-points, needs, values, and issuance of solutions.
Product positioning through assurance of corporate strengths, values, and core competencies.
Evaluates the client’s needs for upgrades and upsells of current or new installations of varying complexity over the phone or in the field.
Serve as liaison between distribution channels and integration/installer accounts to assure Fronius product is positioned as #1 inverter choice, whilst maintaining push/pull strategy
Input towards vetting of new and existing territory accounts to assure premium level of support through direct or indirect (distribution) support, report to Sales Manager
Elevate value of distribution relationships for all parties (installer/EPC, distributor, Fronius)
Budget, forecasting and pipeline reporting input
Continuous market analysis and feedback to ensure thorough knowledge and preparation of business strategy through efficient reporting.
Training and Support including understanding of design and engineering support, Co-facilitates presentations or develops proposals, conducts demonstrations, acting as the technical expert, demo new products, FSP.
Participates in trade shows and providing product and technical guidance or support at regional and national events.
Provide frequent feedback to Sales and Engineering on new products, new features, prices, customer feedback, competitors, market trends, etc.
Work closely with the Regional Account Managers to support the sales for Fronius products in the assigned region.
Represent Fronius Mexico SA de CV in a professional image and promote long-term partnerships.
